I just wanted to give a little bit about my Journey into 
becoming a Solitary Witch. I was brought up Catholic with my Grandmother
 being a big part of that. She was a very special person to me and I did
 the whole  different steps all for her.I will say that growing up going
 to church wasn't so bad because it actually kept me scared to be bad 
and make wrong choices. When I hit Middle School I still went to church 
but I found there was more out there and I had more questions then 
answers when it came to the bible scripture. So I started to look for 
more. I played Ouija board allot with my friends and we did seances.We 
played all the games like "stiff as a board".  I also did allot of 
meditation actually due to the CCD teacher I had. She made us do them 
and I got hooked. Still knowing there has to be more out there due to 
the "Gift" I had since I was a young child. I went searching for even 
more. Knowing things before they happen and feeling other peoples 
feelings scared me. Until one day I babysat for a friend of the family 
that I spent a lot of time with. They went out and a friend who was 
staying with them stayed home for a bit. He asked me if I knew what 
tarot cards were and we got in a big discussion on everything from 
spirits to me knowing things before they happen. Well he asked if I 
wanted him to read my cards. Me being me I was like yes and show me 
how!!!! Well being a middle schooler and boy crazy my question was about
 a boy I was "going out with". The reply surprised me! I was told I had a
 great gift and I could help allot of people and I needed to learn the 
Tarot and all this stuff. I was like WHAT!!! lol The guy told me to get a
 deck and start to learn to read. So my best friend bought me my first 
deck!!  I played with it and did readings for friends but didn't get to 
involved with the deck she got me.(I wasn't feeling the deck) So there 
was a new age store in a town over from the one I lived in. I went in 
there in a hunt for a new deck. What I found was so much more!! The man 
behind the counter was so nice and he answered all an any questions I 
had. I asked him about Wicca and he gave me a list of books to read. The
 first book on the list was Wicca A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner 
by Scott Cunningham. I bought the book and brought it home and read it. 
(I still have the book and I still use it to this day) I knew this was 
my calling! I went back and got more and more books. I read so much and 
studied so much about Wicca. I read and learned for a few years before I
 actually took that step to doing a self dedication. I guess it was 
because I wanted to know more of everything and not just the cast a 
spell and circle part. I was into the different Gods and Goddesses, the 
herbal part, the reading palms to any divination, to Chakras an Auras , 
Just everything sucked me in! I couldn't get enough and I still can't. I
 love learning more and more because everyone does things different and 
there is so many paths that not one is right or wrong! So anyway I 
finally took that step to dedication with a friend of mine. The only 
thing is I couldn't just pick one God or Goddess or a path that I wanted
 to be straight on. So I go at it on my own path with what ever God and 
Goddess that wants to come to me. I will say I am drawn to Egyptian Gods
 and Goddesses more these days. So ever since then I go my own way and 
do my own thing. I use many different spells and rituals from many paths
 and that is the way I like it. I did try to do the coven thing for a 
short year and I found it was to much of a hassle for me. There was 
fighting and power struggling and no order to the group. Plus I hate not
 being able to be free with what I want to do. I may take a ritual out 
of a book but I change it to fit me more. I am very artsy and I don't do
 things like everyone else so there was a lot of arguments on that. I 
was wrong and there books were right. Ummm A book is a guide not a way 
of living and worship there is so much more then one book or writers 
opinions you can use and everyone has there own way of doing things. So 
don't let anyone say you are wrong on how you do anything with the 
craft. You can do it anyway that feels comfortable to you. Only you know
 your relationship with the Gods and Goddesses. Don't be afraid to be 
different and experiment. All spells , callings , circle casting can be 
changed. Don't be scared of messing up either. Things don't have to be 
so serious in your circle have fun bonding with the Lord and Lady. Open 
your heart and love being a  Solitary Witch!

Negative Spells Lets say No!

I just want to touch base on negative magic. I know some people will use it and not care about the consequences. My personal experience is a big NO! There is just to much chaos that comes with using any kind of magic that can harm someone. You never know if it will backfire and the backlash is so not worth it at all. I try to find other ways to work things out other then shooting for the most easy thing that you do out of anger. I know this because I one day slipped up.
It was Christmas time, I had to return a toy I had doubles of a few days before Christmas. Well in line at the service desk the lady who was doing returns was being so rude to everyone in line. I understand it was a busy time and the phone kept ringing, but there was three people working behind the desk and She was the only one short with people on the phone and just nasty to anyone wanting to exchange anything. When it was my turn she answered a call I waited patiently for her to be done. She huffed and puffed and gave the person on the phone a bad attitude after she was done she helped me. They didn't have anymore like the item I was getting so I had to go with something a little more money and I figured I would just pay the difference and be on my way. Well not so much! I didn't have the receipt because I chose to have it emailed to me. I had it pulled up on my phone and she got mad because it wouldn't scan off the phone. So then she had to look it up by my phone number and that made her even more mad. It took her a few tries because she was putting it in wrong. She just kept getting more mad and nasty to me. She finally got it up but she only gave me part of my refund. I asked why and instead of explaining she started to talk down to me like I was a idiot. I actually looked at her and said "You need to really calm down" Oh that made it even worse she got even more angry and even more nasty. She made me mad by this point. Well I got my money back and had to stand in line to pay for the exchange because she wouldn't just let me pay the difference. So standing in line I saw her treating other people just as bad as me. I just couldn't watch it anymore and she made me so hot. I just cast on her without thinking it through. It was just a Karma type spell I came of the cuff with and I said it with a lot of intensity as I stared her down. Honestly my anger might have been intensified by her emotions being picked up because I was totally calm when I got in the car. I also felt so bad about it, but the damage was done! Can't take back what you send out!
My guilt was so bad I called my husband and told him what I did and what happen. I also told him I could feel the back lash was going to be horrible I just had the feeling. I was so mad at myself and I beat myself up all night long and for a few days after. It was so not me to do that and I am ashamed to even say I did it. But let me say my lesson was learned so quickly but The three fold hit me fast and hard.
The next day it started!! My two youngest girls two days before Christmas Eve decided to cut there hair off. My middle child had long beautiful curls. The youngest didn't have much hair so It wasn't as big a deal as my middle child. I walked in to curls all over the place and a child with a mullet! I was so upset all I could do was call my mother in-law and cry about it. She saved the day by calling her hair stylist and got them in last minute. Then the next day I was walking into my bathroom to get something out of the bathroom. I was on the phone with my mom. All of a sudden my phone flew out my hand and landed in the toilet for a swim. It was so strange because for one I was on it and two it was like someone pushed it out my hands. I just said PLEASE NO MORE! I kept saying I learned my lesson never again will I do anything like that again! With law of three fold I knew one more was coming. Sure enough Christmas Eve after everyone left from our Christmas party we cleaned up and did the Santa thing and went to bed. I woke up to the sound of running Water. So I got up Christmas morning and it was like 4 in the morning. Went into my bathroom and my shower was running! As soon as I stepped in the bathroom there was water up to my ankles on the floor I just started to yell for my husband and started to throw what ever I had to soak up all the water on the floor. I asked him if he put the shower on and fell asleep. He swore he went to bed and stayed there. We have no idea how it happen but we had water end up all down the hall and into my oldest bedroom. It was so crazy and the worse backlash I ever heard of. Lets just say I learned my lesson in a fast way.
I know this doesn't sound like a total tragedy to some people but it being Christmas I didn't have money left for a phone and hair cuts and it took me a week and allot of baking soda to get the water out of the rug and trying to keep mold from setting in.
So my personal opinion is to never do magic in anger and never cast on someone without them asking. I should have let it go and let her sow her own Karma on her own and I still feel so horrible about the whole thing. The Lord and Lady taught me a lesson and I will hold on to it and live by what they teach me!

My Beltane Ritual

I had a great Beltane Ritual today! I used what I posted and I did a Guardians of the House spell with it. I got the Guardian Spell from Celtic magic By D. J. Conway. I used protection charged crystals as my Guardians and hid them all over my house. For my children's room I used for each of them a Rose Quarts and hid them where they cant get them.

I felt so blessed because in my Bale-fire there was a pentagram in the glowing ash. I am going to post pictures of my alter and the Bale-fire. I kept some of the ash and put it in a bag and tied it up and hid it too. I read some where that back in the day people would take the ash from the Bale-fire home to protect there house for the year to come till the next Beltane.

I always feel so good after a ritual. Just being with the God and Goddess is wonderful and Beltane ex specially is so inspiring because you are Celebrating the Light that the God and Goddess brings us in this season and there Love and Union that makes all life. It just fills you with so much Love Energy and it inspires you to be more loving to the people in your life.

I used dragons blood oil because it is one of many protection oil.

Plus I love dragons Blood.
