Chakras

I want to talk a little bit about Chakras because I think they are a important part of your life force. Also they are what helps make up your Aura.

The chakras are seven centers of power located along the spinal column.

They are revolving, wheel like circles of subtle energies that absorb higher energies and transform them into a useable form that can be utilized in the body.

Our bodies contain currents of positive and negative energy that come from our breath.

The right side of the body contains positive energy, and the left side negative.

Both energies influence the directions the chakras  revolve in. Each chakra appears to revolve in  the opposite direction to the chakras above and below it.

When you are feeling someones aura you will be able to feel the energy emanating from these charkras. This will give you a idea of how powerful they are.

Each charkra has a color and name. the color spirals out from its center. Each charkra relates to a color of the rainbow.

Our Auras actually contain at least a small portion of every color. 

The Quatern

The four bottom charkras are often represented as a square this is the Quatern. These have a slower vibration than the three top most and are solidly grounded in the Earth. Each are related to one of the elements Earth, Air , Fire, Water.

ROOT CHAKRA
(Muladhara)


Color: Red
Element: Earth
Sense: Smell
Desires: Physical contact
Challenge: To think before acting
Keywords: Physical

The root chakra builds up vitality and keeps us firmly grounded to the Earth.
 It also makes us feel vibrant and alive, full of energy.
Emotional level it gives courage and persistence.
The Root also pays a big role in our survival because it controls our fight or flight responses.
If this chakra is over stimulated it can make you be domineering, self centered, and addicted to money and sex. If it is under stimulated you will feel nervous and insecure. Fear can gather in this chakra.


SACRAL CHAKRA
(Svadisthana)

Color: Orange
Element: Water
Sense: Taste
Desires: Respect and acceptance
Challenge: To love and serve others
Keyword: Social

The sacral chakra is connected with the fluid functions of the body.
It represents sexuality, creativity, and emotional balance.
This chakra stimulates hope and optimism on a emotional level.
People who relate to others have a balanced sacral, this gives the necessary fluidity to interact smoothly and effectively.
 When sacral is under stimulated it can cause illnesses such as arthritis.
 It is often caused from the negative emotions of anger, frustration, and resentment.
When it is over stimulated we can be manipulative, aggressive and overly self indulgent.


SOLAR CHAKRA
(Manipuraka)


Color: Yellow
Element: Fire
Sense: Sight
Desires: To understand
Challenge: To communicate effectively with loved ones
Keyword: Intellect

The Solar chakra gives us warmth, good self esteem and happiness.
When Solar is working right it relates to absorption and and movement of food and giving good digestion and a feeling of physical well being. It also relates to our eyes.
 On a emotional level the solar relates to sensitivity. It creates optimism , creativity, self respect and confidence.
Anger and hostility can build in this chakra when you are living in a negative way.
 When Solar is over stimulated we become workaholics, perfectionists, and very demanding.
When under stimulated we lack confidence, and become confused an feel we have no control over our lives.

HEART CHAKRA
(Anahatha)


Color: Green
Element: Air
Sense: Touch
Desires: To love and be loved
Challenge: To gain confidence
Keyword: Emotions

The Heart chakra relates to love, harmony, sympathetic understanding and the sense of touch.
 Emotional level this chakra enhances compassion, self accepting and respect for self and others.
 These people are in touch with their feelings and like to nurture others.
People with under stimulated heart incline to be over sensitive, overly sympathetic, and need to always give to others.
 They also feel sorry for themselves and constantly afraid and co dependent.
 If it is over stimulated we become Possessive, demanding, moody, and controlling.

THE TRINITY
These are the top three chakras that vibrate at a higher level.
They are related to the quadruplicates of astrology.

The cardinal signs are outgoing, energetic, and expressive.
 They are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.

The fixed signs are rigid, stubborn, and tenacious.
They are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

The mutable signs are adaptable and able to adjust to changing circumstances.
They are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.


THROAT CHAKRA
(Visshudha)


Color: Blue
Quadruplicity: Fixed
Sense: Sound
Desires: Inner peace
Challenge: To risk
Keyword: Concepts

The throat chakra is a vital element in transmitting thought and ideas from the brow chakra to the lower four. Throat relates to sound, especially the voice.
 Chakra of communication and self expression at a emotional level it enhances idealism, love, and understanding.
When properly balanced it gives contentment, peace of mind , and good sense of timing, also strong faith.
When it is over stimulated we can become arrogant, dogmatic, sarcastic. and overbearing.
When it is under stimulated we become weak devious, and unreliable.


BROW CHAKRA
(Ajna)

Color: Indigo
Quadruplicity: Mutable
Desire: To be in harmony with the Universe
Challenge: To make one's dreams reality
Keyword: Intuition

The Brow chakra governs the mind and is the command center that controls all the other chakras.
The function of the brow is thinking, but most of us have no control of our thinking patterns.
 Emotional level it increases our understanding of the everyday world by making us aware of our spiritual natures. All intuition comes from this chakra, even picking up others moods and feelings.
We are all influenced on a subliminal level by others.
When the brow is over stimulated we become proud, authoritative, manipulative, and dogmatic.
When the brow is under stimulated we become non assertive, timid failures.


CROWN CHAKRA
(Sahasrara)

Color: Violet
Quadruplicity: Cardinal
Desires: Universal understanding
Challenge: To grow in knowledge and wisdom
Keyword: Spirituality


The Crown chakra controls the strongest energy vibrations in the body.
 Crown balances and harmonizes the interior and exterior sides of our natures.
It also governs the mystical, spiritual level where one realizes the interconnectedness of all living things.
 It is very difficult to leave the concept of individuality behind to become part of the universe in a way.
By doing this you will become whole as our baser natures are forgotten and left behind allowing us to live. When the crown becomes over stimulated we become frustrated, destructive and depressed.
 Severe migraine headaches are common also.
When it is under stimulated we become withdrawn, uncommunicative and lack any joy in life.
